Quiz Flow Overview
Quiz Flow is a guided questionnaire that helps visitors find the right resources in your directory. Instead of browsing and filtering manually, visitors answer a few questions and FieldFlow shows them the most relevant results.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- You create a quiz with questions and answer options
- Each answer is tagged with keywords
- FieldFlow’s AI maps those tags to your directory’s taxonomy terms
- When a visitor completes the quiz, they see a filtered view of your directory matching their answers
When to use Quiz Flow
Section titled “When to use Quiz Flow”Quiz Flow is especially helpful when:
- Your directory has many records and visitors might feel overwhelmed
- Visitors don’t know the right terminology to search or filter
- You want to guide people through a decision process (e.g., “What kind of help do you need?”)
- Your audience is less tech-savvy and benefits from a conversational approach
Example
Section titled “Example”A nonprofit resource directory might have a quiz like:
What do you need help with today?
- Finding housing
- Getting food assistance
- Legal help
- Finding a job
Based on the answer, the directory filters to show only relevant resources.
Quiz modes
Section titled “Quiz modes”You can embed the quiz in three ways:
| Mode | What happens |
|---|---|
| Quiz only | Shows the quiz, then filtered results |
| Quiz + Directory | Shows quiz first, then reveals directory with results. Visitor can also browse the full directory |
| Directory only | No quiz, just the standard directory (default) |
Set the mode in your embed code or the Publish tab.
