Connect Google Sheets
FieldFlow reads data directly from Google Sheets using a secure OAuth connection. Your data stays in Google — FieldFlow just reads it.
Connect your Google account
Section titled “Connect your Google account”- Open any project’s Overview tab (or create a new project first)
- In the Google Sheets Connection section, click Connect Google Account
- A Google sign-in window will appear — choose the Google account that owns or has access to your spreadsheets
- Grant FieldFlow permission to read your spreadsheets
- You’ll be redirected back to FieldFlow with a green Connected badge
Finding your Google Sheet ID
Section titled “Finding your Google Sheet ID”Every Google Sheet has a unique ID in its URL. You’ll need this when creating a project.
Open your Google Sheet in the browser. The URL looks like:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aBcDeFgHiJkLmNoPqRsTuVwXyZ/editThe Sheet ID is the long string between /d/ and /edit:
1aBcDeFgHiJkLmNoPqRsTuVwXyZCopy this value — you’ll paste it when creating your project.
Worksheet name
Section titled “Worksheet name”If your spreadsheet has multiple tabs (worksheets), FieldFlow reads from Sheet1 by default. You can specify a different worksheet name when creating your project.
What permissions does FieldFlow need?
Section titled “What permissions does FieldFlow need?”FieldFlow requests read-only access to Google Sheets. It cannot modify, delete, or create spreadsheets. Your data stays in Google Sheets — FieldFlow reads it and creates a searchable copy for your directory.
Disconnecting
Section titled “Disconnecting”To disconnect your Google account, go to the project Overview tab and click Disconnect in the Google Sheets Connection section.
