Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Directory not showing:
- Make sure your API key is valid and not revoked
- Check that the allowed origins on your API key include your WordPress site’s domain
- View the browser console (F12 > Console) for error messages
“Failed to fetch” error:
- Your API key’s domain whitelist may not include this site’s URL
- Check that
apiBaseUrlis set tohttps://app.getfieldflow.io
Directory appears briefly then disappears:
- A WordPress plugin may be conflicting with the embed script
- Try disabling caching plugins temporarily to test
- Check if a security plugin is blocking external scripts
Styling looks off:
- Some WordPress themes apply aggressive CSS that overrides the embed
- FieldFlow’s embed uses scoped styles to minimize conflicts, but heavy theme CSS may still interfere
- Try adding the embed to a full-width page template
